Job summary

NFP Corp in Oregon is seeking an experienced Property & Casualty Broker to manage broking for new and renewal business, from market selection to policy delivery, ensuring client needs are met with high service standards. You will coordinate renewal cycles, negotiate with carriers, and work with underwriters and account teams to present compelling market submissions and recommendations.

A Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years P&C experience are required; a P&C license or plan to obtain within 90 days

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of two to five years property & casualty insurance experience.
• P&C license required or obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Advanced industry designation(s) (e.g. CPCU, CIC, ARM) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively coordinate broking around the renewal cycle in accordance with service standards and timelines.
• Define success and go-to-market strategy for each broking engagement and client.
• Negotiate with carriers to drive favorable outcomes and growth.
• Collaborate with brokerage team and client on market submissions and proposals.
• Assist in issuing certificates of insurance and endorsements, with carrier coordination.
• Prepare coverage comparisons and diagnostic analyses under supervision.
• Develop relationships with underwriters and account management teams.
• Maintain accurate client and policy information in Epic.
