Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar position; commercial insurance experience preferred.
• Property & Casualty license or willingness to pursue within 90 days.
• Knowledge of insurance products, documents and uses.
• Word and Excel skills are a must; EPIC and carrier websites experience preferred.
• Ability to work well independently and on a team.
• Incredible attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Open to continuing education; college degree preferred.
• Positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to make customers and coworkers feel valued.
• Capability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Methodical, yet swift decision-making, prioritization.
• Precise communication under time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Produce summaries, ordering and issuing binders, certificates, policies and other documents within timelines.
• Obtain non-marketed renewal quotes and handle renewals, non-renewals and cancellations.
• Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities; support miscellaneous duties as requested.
