Your Role:

Seasoned professional with full understanding of functional area; pivotal point for career choice. Supports the overall business strategy by performing analysis to support business needs. Formulates solutions and recommendations to more complex business problems or processes. Application of insurance knowledge and analytic methods and technical skills necessary for solving unstructured problems and performing analysis of higher complexity/difficulty.Broad range of complex assignments, typically diverse. Demonstrated knowledge and skills applied to making sound judgments in work. Participates in larger projects and leads smaller projects. Mentors less senior staff.

Your work:

• Performs complex analysis of data for assigned client group and how it relates to overall objectives. Research includes enlisting the collaboration of different departments outside IPM/IPO and gaining their support on findings and action plan.
• Applies knowledge gained from involvement in broader issues to make recommendations for procedure development and analysis needed for securing desired solution.
• Prepares findings and recommendations for clients and may be co-presenter to senior management.
• May review work of less seasoned staff for accuracy, logic and appropriateness.
• Develops and may act as coach on processes for reporting out information to clients. Makes recommendations on efficiencies and calendar.

Required Experience, Education and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of directly related experience
• Superior research, statistical, analytical, processing and mathematical skills with ability to structure and conduct analyses
• Adaptability and the capability of multi-tasking and strong time management
• Ability to make effective formal presentations
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to coach and mentor co-workers and give feedback as required

• Knowledge of insurance, accounting and rate-making concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic and various structured analysis and design techniques
• Advanced degree in related field and/or CPCU designation

• Lives into cultural norms (e.g., willing to have cameras when it matters: helping onboard new team members, building relationships, etc.)
• Travels as needed for role, including divisional / team meetings and other in-person meetings

The national average salary range for this position is $99,855.00-$110,950.00. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on work location. The starting pay range for this position across all the states we hire in is $89,865.00-$133,250.00. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 8% of eligible pay.
