Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies with clients and prospects
• Attract new clients, driving consistent sales for revenue targets
• Demonstrate industry knowledge necessary to communicate solutions effectively
• Achieve new business sales goals on an annualized basis based on annual targets with predominately standard carriers
• Demonstrate ability to identify and overcome sales obstacles on a prospect-specific basis
• Demonstrate knowledge of the market, carriers, and products
• Represent Rate Insurance in a positive and targeted manner at meetings, network groups, and seminars
• Strategize with sales leader and account management staff to retain clients
• Develop annual planning with leadership to set targets and strategy to achieve goals

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in commercial insurance brokerage with experience calling and meeting with senior executives
• Active commercial lines insurance license
• Strong understanding of business operations and commercial insurance lines of business
• Entrepreneurial nature with high personal goals
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task and communicate specific needs to account managers
• Consultative, positive, and solution-based approach to dealing with prospect, clients, and associates
• Excellent listening skills with strong customer focus
