We are seeking a results-oriented Direct Hire Commercial Lines Producer who enjoys working with clients in industries that thrive outdoors, such as logging, trucking, sawmills, and outdoor manufacturing. Ideal candidates appreciate nature and have a passion for these industries. If you enjoy hunting, fishing, or spending time in the woods, you'll feel at home working with many of our clients.

The candidate should have a proven sales record, a passion for client service, and the ability to work independently and with a team. The role involves frequent travel within WI, IA, MN, MI, with occasional visits to the agency office in Niagara, WI, or the home office in Newberry, MI. The position is Monday through Friday, offering $50k+ commission.

Location: Remote (Must reside in Wisconsin or Minnesota)

Responsibilities

• Retain and grow existing clients through visits, coverage reviews, negotiations, and policy re-marketing.
• Collaborate with customer service reps to ensure seamless service.
• Cross-sell and round out accounts with other insurance products, referring opportunities when needed.
• Identify and pursue new business within the territory to expand the client base.
• Represent the agency at trade shows, conventions, and industry events to promote services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but relevant experience may suffice.
• At least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in insurance or commercial sectors.
• Knowledge of industries like logging, trucking, sawmills, and wood manufacturing is a plus.
• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Producer License in MI, WI, IA, or MN.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn additional software.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with clients, team members, and carriers.
• Willingness to travel within the territory and occasionally to agency offices.
