Job summary

American Automobile Association (AAA) in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Insurance Specialist to quote and write personal and commercial lines including auto and home, while developing new business in the community. The role supports sales goals and provides service to members.

The position requires a valid Arizona P&C license, a high school diploma or GED, and 6 months of fast-paced sales experience; a valid AZ driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Arizona Property and Casualty Insurance License required.
• A minimum of six months’ experience in a fast paced, multi-task work environment selling P&C lines of business required.
• 1-3 years related experience.
• Valid Arizona driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Quote and write personal and commercial lines insurance including auto, homeowner, life, health, business owners and worker’s compensation.
• Prospect within the community to develop new insurance business and create brand presence.
• Meet or exceed sales goals set by management; provide customer service to insurance clients.
• Support lead generation by providing qualified leads to other AAA Arizona lines (Travel, Insurance, Automotive, Financial).
• Maintain records, logs and files per department guidelines; use industry and Club systems.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

• Required to meeting or exceed sales goals set by management Provide customer service to insurance clients.
• Employees are required to support the lead generation initiative by providing qualified leads to other business lines of AAA Arizona that include Travel, Insurance, Automotive and Financial.
• Maintain records, logs and files according to department and club guidelines. Demonstrate thorough and competent skills in both industry and Club computerized systems.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience/Licenses & Certification

• High School Diploma or GED required

Starting salary $32,782.00 - $40,976.00 based on experience - Salary with ability to earn commission
