Job summary

McGriff, a division of Marsh Agency, is seeking an Account Manager for its Commercial Lines team. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong client and carrier relationships, handling administration, billing, and claims questions, and aiding in renewal processes with producers and marketing colleagues.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, two years of relevant experience, and a Property & Casualty license, with strong communication and Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
• Two years of relevant insurance industry experience.
• Property and Casualty insurance license.
• Strong client relations skills with excellent communication and service orientation.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain key client and carrier relationships and assist with service questions related to administration, billing and claims.
• Monitor and manage the renewal process for assigned clients in collaboration with producers/marketing.
• Provide analysis and recommendations for coverage needs and prepare marketing information.
• Complete implementation processes and schedule/lead client meetings.
• Attend seminars and carrier meetings to stay current on products and regulations; support special projects as needed.

A day in the life.

As our Account Manager on the Commercial Lines team, you'll build and maintain key client and carrier relationships, assist assigned clients and teammates with service questions related to administration, billing, claims issues and problem solving. You'll work with the Producer and/or Marketing Account Executive to monitor and manage the renewal process for assigned clients, provide analysis and recommendation of coverage needs, prepare/provide marketing information, complete the implementation process, schedule and conduct meetings, prepare and deliver forms to clients, attend seminars, classes and carrier meetings to stay up-to-date on products and legislative changes, and participate in other projects as needed.

• Strong client relations skills; including excellent communication skills and service orientation, cooperative nature, and tactfulness to resolve client and company problems
