Job summary

S&S Truck Tire Center in Lexington, KY is seeking an Inside Tire Technician to join our tire team. The role focuses on mounting and dismounting tires and wheel assemblies, loading and unloading, repairing tires, and providing emergency road service to truck fleets.

Responsibilities

• Mount/Dismount/Install Tires & Tire/Wheel Assemblies.
• Load/Unload Tires on and off Trucks.
• Tire Repair tasks as needed.
• Provide Emergency Road Service.

Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to:

• Mount/Dismount/Installation of Tires & Tire/Wheel Assemblies
• Loading/Unloading Tires on and off Trucks
• Tire Repair
• Emergency Road Service

Requirements

• A valid, insurable Driver’s License.
• A minimum driving age of at least 23-years-old
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• The desire to be an integral part of a TEAM.
• Commitment to being on time.
• Ability to communicate, verbally and written, clearly and professionally with co-workers and management.
• Be able to lift 75-100 pounds
• Experience with OTR, agriculture, heavy equipment, and truck tires preferred
