Job summary

Culligan of Greater Kansas City is seeking a driven Commercial & Industrial Sales Representative to expand our business-to-business customer base and close projects with engineers, contractors and business owners. You’ll start with a water analysis and review system requirements to improve equipment life, save on chemicals, and enhance water quality.

Ideal candidates bring industrial sales experience, strong consultative skills, and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior industrial/B2B sales experience and B2B cold-calling experience required; travel to customer locations regularly.
• Familiarity with water treatment is preferred but not required.
• Must be a self-starter with initiative and consultative selling skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Grow the existing customer base.
• Prospect local businesses and new construction projects.
• Follow up on incoming sales leads.
• Research new building projects.
• Bid on projects.
• Establish and maintain relationships with engineers, contractors, construction managers, and business owners/operators.
• Build and maintain customer relationships and provide ongoing support.
