Job summary

Flow Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Welder to join our mechanical installation team in the Atlanta/Cartersville region. You will weld commercial piping systems and read blueprints, ensuring quality welds on industrial HVAC projects.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Weld commercial mechanical piping systems and related components
• Perform pipe welding using appropriate welding processes and techniques
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and project specifications
• Prepare, align, fit, and assemble piping materials for welding
• Inspect completed welds for quality and compliance with project requirements
• Safely operate welding equipment, hand tools, and fabrication equipment
• Work alongside pipefitters and foremen to complete installations efficiently
• Follow jobsite safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in commercial pipe welding, mechanical construction, or industrial welding
• Proficiency in applicable pipe welding processes, including SMAW (stick) and GTAW (TIG)
• Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and technical specifications
• Knowledge of weld preparation, pipe fitting, and welding techniques
• Ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds
• Experience using welding equipment, hand tools, and fabrication tools
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork
• Reliable transportation to travel between local job sites

Preferred: Five or more years of commercial or industrial welding experience, previous HVAC mechanical piping experience, and applicable pipe welding certifications.
