Job summary

Hobbs & Associates, a member of the AIR Control Concepts family, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician in Elkridge, MD. You will install, service, and commission a wide range of commercial HVAC systems, including VRF, rooftop and packaged units, delivering reliable performance and top-tier customer service.

Requirements include 3–5 years of field experience, EPA Universal Certification, strong diagnostics and communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required; OEM training preferred.
• Strong diagnostics, troubleshooting, and reading schematics.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background/drug checks.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and optimize a range of commercial HVAC systems.
• Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and timely.
• Keep vehicle/tools ready and organized for field work.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service coverage.
• Overnight travel may be required depending on jobsite location.
