Job summary

AIR Carolinas in Asheville, NC is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to install, service, and start up a wide range of HVAC systems, including VRF and rooftop units. Under the Service General Manager, you'll be a hands-on problem solver delivering high-quality work and positive customer experiences.

This role requires 5–7 years of field experience, EPA Universal Certification, strong diagnostics and communication skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required; OEM-specific training preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a range of commercial HVAC systems including VRF, rooftop, and packaged units.
• Perform preventative maintenance and optimize system performance.
• Document service reports and coordinate with dispatch for scheduling.
• Support on-call rotations and assist junior technicians when needed.
