Job summary

AIR Carolinas is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician in Raleigh, NC to install, service, and start up a wide range of HVAC systems. You’ll diagnose issues, optimize performance, and deliver high-quality customer experiences on every job.

This non-exempt role requires EPA Universal Certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work on rooftops and in mechanical spaces. On-the-job training is provided, with opportunities for growth and career advancement.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• OEM-specific training or certifications are preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues on commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and optimize system performance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Accurately complete service reports, work orders, and related documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and personal tools.
• Stay up to date through ongoing technical training and mentorship of junior technicians.
• Follow safety guidelines and participate in on-call emergency service rotation.
