Qualifications

• Proficient with troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of basic refrigerant cycle, heating components and air distribution systems.
• Proficient with brazing, leak checking and the evacuation process.
• Understands mechanical drawings and equipment specifications.
• 2+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Universal EPA Certification.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals; write reports.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and startup commercial HVAC including DX equipment up to 25 tons, fans, split systems, heat pumps, water source units, mini-splits, controls, furnaces, humidifiers, and related equipment.
• Log equipment conditions, refrigerant/electrical circuits, and job notes.
• Travel to customer sites as needed and communicate with team, sales and customers.
• Complete tasks with minimal call-backs and timely paperwork.
• Observe and report unsafe conditions; participate in on-call rotation.
• Maintain tools and company vehicle; perform other duties as assigned.
