Job summary

Lennox International in the United States is seeking a field HVAC technician to install, maintain, and service commercial systems across multiple locations in Alabama. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer service as core requirements.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and communicate findings to managers. The position may require on-call shifts, overtime, and local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–6 years hands-on commercial HVAC experience preferred.
• EPA Certification - Type I & II or Universal required.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 90 pounds.
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required.
• Strong diagnostic and maintenance skills on HVAC equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage self-scheduling.
• NATE certification is a plus.
• Some local travel and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site preventive maintenance and routine repairs on commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose system issues and determine service requirements.
• Inform management of inspections and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with team to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
• Work overtime or on-call as required and maintain safe work practices.
• Complete repairs and required paperwork promptly.
