Job summary

Environmental Air Systems, LLC seeks an experienced HVAC technician to service, maintain and repair DX equipment up to 100 tons, water-cooled units up to 150 tons, and water source heat pumps. You will perform start-ups, run diagnostics, and carry out preventative maintenance at customer sites.

The role requires a valid universal refrigerant card, 10+ years in commercial HVAC, and a strong commitment to safety, attendance, and professional appearance.

Qualifications

• High School or Trade School Graduate or GED.
• Holds a Universal Refrigerant Card (Type I or Universal).
• At least 10 years of commercial experience.
• Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance as determined by management.
• Flexible schedule with weekend on-call rotation for standby service.
• Appearance must be clean and neat at all times.
• Truck and equipment must be clean at all times.
• Abide by safety rules and regulations including defensive driving.
• Responsible for maintaining company tools per policies.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and repair DX equipment up to 100 tons.
• Maintenance of water-cooled units up to 150 tons and water source heat pumps.
• Start-up and test operations on newly installed commercial equipment.
• Record and report job status to dispatcher after each call.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance per customer requirements.
• Inspect and replace coils, belts, wiring as needed.
• Ensure proper operation by adjusting valves, pumps and controls.
• Maintain tools and workplace cleanliness.
