Job summary

W.B. Guimarin & Co., Inc. is seeking an HVAC technician to diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems, perform maintenance, and ensure safety compliance.

You will test circuits, joints, and wiring, install thermostats, read blueprints, and maintain certifications. A valid South Carolina license and baseline driving record are required. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of commercial HVAC experience, or residential if applicable, and must be able to lift heavy objects safely.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of commercial HVAC experience preferred.
• Must have valid SC driving license and clean record.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and details; perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service HVAC systems to diagnose problems and perform preventative maintenance.
• Test electrical circuits and joints for leaks; assemble and reconnect piping and components.
• Install and adjust thermostats, humdostat, and timers; test system operation.
• Obtain and maintain required certifications; follow safety procedures.
