WB Guimarin in Greenville, SC is seeking qualified HVAC service technicians. You will test electrical circuits, check pipes for leaks, join systems, install thermostats, and repair equipment, following plans and specifications.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years HVAC experience (commercial preferred), with air-cooled chiller experience and a valid SC driver’s license. The role includes a company vehicle, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Formación

• 2+ years HVAC experience preferred (commercial; residential acceptable)
• Air Cooled Chiller experience preferred
• Valid South Carolina Driver's License
• New Employee Random drug testing required
• Proficient with PC-based systems and tablets/smartphones
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Able to read blueprints and perform basic maths; use measuring tools
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds routinely, 50 pounds frequently, and 80 pounds occasionally

Responsabilidades

• Test electrical circuits for continuity using test equipment
• Test pipes/joints for leaks using gauge or soap solution
• Join pipes to equipment and fuel/water/refrigerant sources
• Reassemble and test equipment after repairs
• Repair or replace defective equipment or wiring
• Layout and connect wiring between controls and equipment per diagrams
• Install and adjust thermostats, humidistats and timers
• Comply with plans and specifications and inspect systems

What you will do

• Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment.
• Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution.
• Join pipes or tubing to equipment and to fuel, water, or refrigerant source, to form complete circuit.
• Reassemble and test equipment following repairs.
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
• Layout and connect electrical wiring between controls and equipment, according to wiring diagrams, using electrician's hand tools.
• Install, connect, and adjust thermostats, humidistats and timers, using hand tools.
• Obtain and maintain required certifications.
• Ability to identify basic trade materials by size, shape and function.
• Able to safely use small power tools and hand tools.
• Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions.

Education and Key Requirements

• Ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of Commercial HVAC experience but will accept if only residential.
• Should have Air Cooled Chiller Experience.
• Acceptable driving record and valid South Carolina Driving License
• New Employee and Random drug testing required.
• Proficient in PC based computer systems and tablet/smart phone technology.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and details; perform basic mathematical computations and use measuring tools.
• Ability to work skillfully with both hands constantly; independently safely lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds routinely, 50 pounds frequently, and 80 pounds occasionally; climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffold.
• New Employee Fit for Duty physical required.
