We’re Hiring: Entry-Level Commercial HVAC Technician – Get Dirty, Get Better
Location: Norristown, PA (Field-Based Role) | Pay Range: $18–$22/hour | Full-Time
Company Overview:
At Commercial Kitchen Ventilation, we don’t babysit ventilation systems — we keep them alive under the worst conditions. From multi-story rooftops to tight basements, we make sure kitchens stay safe, compliant, and moving.
We’re a small, sharp team built on hustle, pride, and accountability. We don’t carry passengers. We don’t tolerate excuses. You either move the needle — or you’re in the way.
Position Summary:
We’re hiring an Entry-Level Commercial HVAC Technician. No experience? Good. You’ll learn from the ground up — riding with senior techs, getting dirty in the field, and earning your place by what you do, not what you say.
This isn’t classroom training. You’ll be diagnosing airflow issues, inspecting rooftop equipment in brutal heat and cold, and learning how to keep critical systems running in high-stress environments.
If you’re afraid of sweat, heights, or hard days — stop reading now.
What You’ll Do:
Assist with inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on hoods, ductwork, fans, and rooftop systems
Ride along on service calls, support lead techs, and stay a step ahead
Work in crawlspaces, attics, rooftops (including steep pitches), and mechanical rooms
Learn basic troubleshooting for airflow, electrical, and mechanical issues
Handle tools, materials, and documentation like a pro-in-training
Stay moving, stay coachable, stay hungry
What You’ll Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Zero fear of heights, weather, tight spaces, or getting dirty
Solid work ethic, mechanical curiosity, and grit
Respect for safety, customers, and the people you work with
Pay & Benefits:
$18–$22/hour starting pay based on effort, not just experience
Health Insurance + Retirement Plan
Paid Holidays + PTO
Fast-track training and real-world skills development
A crew that pushes, expects, and backs each other up
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
You’ll be climbing ladders onto multi-story rooftops, working in hot attics, freezing basements, on lifts and boom trucks, and lifting 50+ lbs regularly. You’ll get dirty, tired, and tested — every day.
Get In, Get Dirty, Get Better
