Job summary

AC Corporation, located in Winston-Salem, NC, seeks a Senior Service Technician to maintain and service industrial HVAC systems. This hands-on role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to quality service.

Typical duties include diagnosing issues, repairing boards and components, and performing scheduled preventive maintenance in commercial/industrial environments. On-call hours and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience servicing industrial HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and instructions.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required to operate company vehicle).
• Availability to work on-call, after-hours, and weekends as needed.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose issues and repair to the electronic control board level.
• Replace faulty breakers, controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and wiring.
• Repair and maintain motors, compressors, pumps, fans, and blowers.
• Record and track pressure, temperature, airflow, and humidity data.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain current certifications.
• Work on refrigeration and water systems (experience a plus).

Work in outdoor environments year-round
