Job summary

Hunter Mechanical is a Thermal Concepts company seeking an experienced HVAC service technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and restaurant equipment, including RTUs and walk‑ins.

You will perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and ensure safety compliance while delivering professional service reports. The role requires 3+ years of HVAC/refrigeration experience, EPA certification, strong diagnostic skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration.
• EPA Certification.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience with plumbing or construction is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and restaurant equipment (RTUs, walk‑ins, split systems).
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance and reliability.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and propose effective repair solutions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
• Deliver excellent customer service and complete accurate service reports.

Position Requirements
