Job summary

SST Direct is seeking a Licensed HVAC Technician to service commercial facilities throughout Palmer, MA. The role offers $35.00-$55.00 per hour plus benefits, with a full-time schedule Monday through Friday.

The ideal candidate has a Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License and EPA 608 certification, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and quality service for customers. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, performing preventative maintenance

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License is required.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.
• Commercial HVAC experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and service commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and controls-related issues.
• Service boilers, chillers, pumps, fans, rooftops and other equipment.
• Identify problems and recommend repairs.
• Complete service calls efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain service records and communicate with customers.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA/EPA regulations.
• Maintain a clean, professional work environment.
• Participate in safety training.
• Work overtime and occasional weekends.

Licensed HVAC Technician

$35.00-$55.00 per hour + Benefits
Full-Time | Monday-Friday

We are seeking an experienced Licensed HVAC Technician to support commercial facilities throughout the Palmer, MA area.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled HVAC technician looking for steady commercial work, competitive pay, strong benefits, and the opportunity to work on a variety of HVAC and mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial HVAC experience, be comfortable troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and take pride in providing quality service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and service commercial HVAC systems

• Perform preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment

• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and controls-related issues

• Service boilers, chillers, pumps, fans, rooftop units, and other commercial HVAC equipment

• Identify equipment problems and recommend appropriate repairs

• Complete service calls efficiently and professionally

• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records

• Communicate professionally with customers and facility personnel

• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable OSHA and EPA regulations

• Maintain a clean and professional work environment

• Participate in required safety training

• Work overtime and occasional weekends as needed

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License required

• EPA 608 Universal Certification required

• Commercial HVAC experience

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Clean driving record

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• BMS/Building Automation experience is a plus
