Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Hourly Rate: $40–$50 per hour ($83,200–$104,000 annual base salary)

• On-Call Compensation: $145 for scheduled on-call duties

• 3&3 Tech Flex Program: Choose one of the following:

  • $3,500 cash bonus

  • 40 additional hours of floating holidays

  • $3,500 in technical training

• Paid Time Off: 48 hours (increases to 168 hours with tenure)

Your Role as a Commercial HVAC Refrigeration Technician

As a Commercial HVAC Refrigeration Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and servicing HVAC and refrigeration systems at banking institutions, movie theaters, retail stores, and other commercial facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting scheduled maintenance, service requests, repairs, and equipment changeouts.

• Servicing and installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, and ice machines.

• Performing routine maintenance on ice machines and refrigeration systems.

• Troubleshooting and assessing commercial HVAC systems to determine required repairs.

• Inspecting and performing equipment repairs and replacements.

• Conducting preventative maintenance and recommending repairs to minimize downtime.

• Responding to emergency service requests promptly and professionally.

• Providing observations on facility conditions and recommending enhancements or repairs.

• Supporting facility-related projects and adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

• Communicating effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members.

• Completing paperwork, including work orders and service reports, accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Required:

  • 3–6 years of demonstrated experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems

  • D-1 or D-2 Limited Warm Air, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Journeyperson License

  • EPA Certification

• Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to climb and descend ladders while carrying up to 30 lbs.

  • Lift up to 75 lbs. and maneuver in confined spaces (e.g., crawlspaces, attics)

  • Willingness to wear required PPE

• Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work overtime and travel as needed for training, meetings, or client-site visits

  • Ability to meet enhanced security clearance requirements

  • Subject to drug, background, and driver’s license checks

• Skills & Abilities:

  • Expertise in troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems

  • Proficiency with light commercial equipment

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Familiarity with industry software is a plus but not required

  • Commitment to safety practices and adherence to company standards
