Department(s): Test and Balance

Summary of essential job functions

1. Utilize testing and balancing skills, along with calibrated instruments, to balance HVAC systems.
2. Establish & maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective oral and written communication skills via phone, computer, and face-to-face interactions.
3. Gather system data and performance information, and complete test and balance forms.
4. Plan and manage workload to achieve efficient use of time, adhering to established budgets and schedules.
5. Enforce safety standards diligently and maintain security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets.
6. Organize and maintain all necessary documentation on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to ensure successful management of required reports. Demonstrate team effort and dedication to customer service by maintaining flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required, including occasional overnight stays.
7. Operate Microsoft Office software proficiently and demonstrate working knowledge of handheld computers (e.g., Smartphone, iPhone, iPad).
8. NEBB technician certification is desired but not required.

Availability: Willing to work nights, weekends, and out-of-town travel as necessary.

Minimum requirements

• Must pass pre-employment drug and background tests.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English (REQUIRED).
• Valid driver’s license with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUIs in the past 5 years.

Abilities required

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
