Job summary

Link Engineering Company is seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician, II to oversee and improve preventative maintenance for HVAC lab and facility equipment in Dearborn and Detroit, MI. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work with various HVAC systems.

Qualified candidates have an Associate degree or trade certification in HVAC/refrigeration and EPA certification; Michigan license is a plus. Travel up to 40% and ability to work evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade schooling in HVAC/refrigeration required.
• EPA universal certification required; Michigan HVAC license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, respond, and repair HVAC equipment and test stands.
• Develop and drive PM schedules for internal HVAC equipment.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC/R systems.
• Conduct leak detection, refrigerant recovery per EPA regulations.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams and document work in ticket system.
