About This Role

As a Serviceman with Carrier, you will impact our customers by ensuring their comfort and representing our confidence in our services. You will have opportunities to learn about Commercial HVAC, working on installations, repairs, and maintenance projects. This role allows collaboration with a team and individual work, ideal for someone passionate about their trade and eager to advance their skills.

Carrier values our Union partnerships and offers paid travel time, along with an on-call schedule designed for better work-life balance, with rotations every 7-8 weeks in most locations.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• 3+ years of practical HVAC industry experience
• Ability to join or be enrolled in the Union Apprentice Program
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work on rooftops
• Ability to stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods
• Valid Driver’s License and insurability

Essential Tasks

• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions
• Install and replace HVAC equipment and controls
• Maintain safety and compliance records
• Collaborate on system design and installation
• Identify and mitigate safety risks
