Job summary

Engineering Excellence is hiring an HVAC service technician to diagnose and repair commercial heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment. You will perform service calls, start-ups, and maintenance while delivering top-notch customer service.

The role requires experience in the commercial HVAC field, EPA 608 licensing (Universal preferred), and the ability to read blueprints. Overtime/weekend work may be required; a safety-focused mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service.
• EPA 608 Refrigerant handling license required (Universal preferred).
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and production diagrams.
• Willingness to overtime and weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving customer concerns in commercial environments.
• Perform service on commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment as well as accessories.
• Perform start-ups on equipment as required.
• Ability to navigate and use smart phone to support business systems
• Proper use of all IVR systems and proper check in with EE dispatchers.
• Responsible for delivery and removal of equipment needed to complete service work.
• Responsible for providing excellent service to commercial customers and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer concerns, questions or problems in an effective manner. Prepare material requisition forms to ensure proper truck stock levels.
• Other duties include performing maintenance on equipment, servicing and/or cleaning
• IAQ products, soldering, welding, brazing, and performing minor field fabrication.

Requirements

• Experience in the commercial HVAC industry
• EPA 608 Refrigeration license, Universal preferred.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and experience in the commercial HVAC field.
• Able to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various projects.
• Adept at servicing commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as related accessories.
• Demonstrated commitment to the delivery of customer-focused service.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and production diagrams.
• The ability to work overtime and weekend hours as required.
• The successful incumbent must be able to meet the minimum requirements for our background check criteria.

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience: 2+ years
