Job summary

Jobot is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to service commercial systems across Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming. You may live anywhere in the territory; relocation assistance is available.

The role involves preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical or electronic issues, and performing repairs on RTUs, chillers, boilers, and VAV systems. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of field experience, EPA 608 certification, a clean driving record, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience (union journeyman card or equivalent strongly preferred).
• Solid troubleshooting skills on chillers, boilers, pumps, VFDs, and building automation systems.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification; valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, sequence–of–operations, and blueprints.
• Strong customer-service mindset and clear written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls issues; recommend and carry out repairs.
• Service and repair RTUs, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, and related components.
• Document findings, parts used, and labor in mobile work-order software.
• Communicate professionally with facility stakeholders to explain work performed and next steps.
• Support a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
