Job summary

JL Anderson Heating and Cooling, Inc. in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing commercial team.

You will diagnose, service, and repair rooftop units, VRF systems, boilers, VAVs, and controls while maintaining safety and quality. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of commercial HVAC experience, EPA Universal Certification (NATE a plus), and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, electrical systems, schematics, and controls.
• EPA Universal Certification required; NATE certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units, VRF, boilers, and VAVs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and electronic control systems.
• Perform system startups, testing, and performance checks; install equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate with customers and internal teams.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards on every job.
