Job summary

JL Anderson Heating and Cooling is seeking an Experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our Lafayette team. You will diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment, service rooftop units, VRF systems, boilers, and controls, and support preventive maintenance to ensure uptime.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• NATE certification preferred.
• Strong refrigeration and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Experience with commercial HVAC controls and equipment.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment.
• Service rooftop units, VRF systems, boilers, VAV systems, split systems, and controls.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic control systems.
• Perform startups, testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
• Document repairs and communicate recommendations with customers.
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
