Company Overview:

Garrett Mechanical / Sundream HVAC provides light commercial maintenance services across large geographies and locations. We have small teams of expert technicians responsible for emergency and routine maintenance requests, typically within a 2-3 hour driving window from their home location. We offer competitive pay and seek mature technicians who can provide their expertise on a full-time or 1099 basis. Pay is negotiable based on experience, willingness/ability to provide own tools and vehicle, and insurance coverage as a 1099 contractor.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and emergency HVAC, plumbing, and handyman service calls
• Complete paperwork and documentation/pictures promptly
• Provide input and observations to support reactive service and replacement quotes
• Work attentively, courteously, and respond promptly while working semi-autonomously

Qualifications:

• Experience with commercial HVAC installation, troubleshooting, service, maintenance, or repair
• Preference for bringing own work truck, tools, and additional insurance coverages
• Experience in maintenance or related fields
• Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
• Attention to deadlines and detail
• Physical ability to handle workload
• Valid Driver's License
• Knowledge of pipe threading and construction plumbing
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• General maintenance skills
• HVAC certification or degree is a plus
