Job Overview

The Sr. Maintenance Technician works to assist in the performance of maintenance duties necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment and systems of the hospital in good working condition. Minor electrical, mechanical, piping, plumbing and HVAC work, repairs and other duties relating to the maintenance and engineering of the facility are the primary duties. This is a full time position.

Responsibilities
  • Operates, inspects, maintains, calibrates and repairs utility equipment, systems and structures throughout the buildingPerforms mechanical repairs to include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and HVAC.
  • Performs preventative maintenance to ensure proper equipment operation.
  • Ensures proper safety education and demonstrates knowledge of facility safety policies.
  • Covers evening or night shifts as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education

High School diploma or GED required

Electrician license in state of practice preferredHVAC certification preferredRefrigeration certification preferred

Boiler Operator License preferred

Experience

7 years maintenance/engineering experience required
