Job Description: Commercial HVAC Service Technicians will work with various system parts and mechanisms to maintain, diagnose, and correct HVAC system problems. Responsibilities include replacing parts, adjusting system controls for better performance, and using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.

Job Duties:

1. Provides preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
2. Troubleshoots units that are not working and replaces defective parts.
3. Performs related work as assigned.
4. Installs refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, pneumatic control, and humidity control systems.
5. Understanding and troubleshooting of Rooftop Units, Air Handling Units, Wet Systems, Cooling Towers, VAV Boxes, Variable Frequency Drives.
6. Builds strong customer relationships and understands customer needs and expectations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience specific to the commercial HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of the theory, methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the trade.
• Possess own basic hand tools.
• Universal EPA Certification.
• Knowledge of refrigeration, pneumatic/DDC control, and air conditioning systems.
• Knowledge of basic electricity and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, reaching, and standing.
