Job Summary: Responsible for repairing and maintaining equipment such as refrigeration, air conditioning units, electric motors, heating systems, heat pumps, compressors, and related systems.

Essential Duties:

  • Coordinate with the office after job completion and daily.
  • Complete all required forms during and after tasks.
  • Manage your schedule efficiently.
  • Communicate with clients at start and end of each service, securing signatures when needed.
  • Record time and materials used accurately.
  • Process paperwork, checks, or cash weekly.
  • Maintain organized workspace and tools.
  • Report repairs and provide information for estimates.
  • Consult supervisors when unsure.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with customers, adjusting tone for best customer experience.
  • Document detailed job notes for future reference.
  • Share knowledge and suggest process improvements.
  • Work safely, ensuring team safety.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical theory, and mechanical drawings.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Understanding of air treatment and heating systems.
  • Adherence to safety standards and OSHA requirements.

Technical Skills:

  • Install, repair, and troubleshoot refrigeration, HVAC, and related equipment.
  • Perform soldering, brazing, and basic load calculations.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work in various environments, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks regularly. Must have good vision and focus.

The work environment varies with seasons and tasks, requiring adaptability and excellent communication skills.
