Job description

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC / R equipment effectively. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter to identify problems in electrical components.
• Repair or replace defective parts, including compressors, motors, and fans.
• Conduct system tests to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
• Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address any HVAC-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for each job.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.

• Familiarity with property maintenance practices related to HVAC systems.
