D&L LLC in Columbus, MS is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to service and troubleshoot commercial systems. This full-time role focuses exclusively on commercial and industrial HVAC service—no residential work—and offers steady hours and a clear career path.

As a key member of the D&L team, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain RTUs, air handlers, and package units while communicating with customers and completing service documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC service experience in commercial or industrial environments.
• Strong troubleshooting experience across mechanical, electrical, and control systems in HVAC equipment.
• Hands-on experience servicing RTUs, mini splits, and package units.
• Experience following HVAC service safety standards.
• Ability to work responsively with plant maintenance teams on service calls.
• EPA Universal License.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and determine the best repair solution
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
• Work on equipment such as RTUs, air handlers, package units, split systems, pumps, chillers, boilers, and related HVAC systems
• Communicate with customers and provide professional, service-focused support
• Complete service documentation, work orders, and required paperwork
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, professional work environment
• Work independently while also supporting the D&L service team when needed
