Job summary

Parker-Arntz Plumbing and Heating is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician with at least 7 years of commercial service experience to join our growing team in Michigan. You will diagnose, repair, commission, and optimize complex HVAC systems for clients, acting as a subject‑matter expert on site.

The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in control wiring, building automation interfaces, and air balancing, plus EPA 608 certification.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal).
• Excellent troubleshooting and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and optimize commercial HVAC systems including ROUs, chillers, air handling, and controls.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and sequence-of-operation documentation.
• Interface with clients, prepare service reports, and provide recommendations.
