Parker-Arntz Plumbing and Heating in Detroit is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician with 7+ years of commercial service experience to join our growing team. This role focuses on diagnosing and repairing complex HVAC systems for commercial clients, with opportunities for career growth in a fast‑moving organization.
You will perform troubleshooting on RTUs, VRF/VRV, boilers, air handling units, and related controls, install and commission BAS components, balance air flows, and communicate
Competenze
- 7+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
- EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal).
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and control diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
- Current driver’s license and insurable to drive to job sites.
Mansioni
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment such as RTUs, split systems, VRF/VRV, heat pumps, boilers, air handlers, VAVs, exhausts, and energy recovery units.
- Install, repair, and commission control wiring, sensors, actuators, relays, and low-voltage circuits; interface with BAS and verify operation.
- Conduct airflow testing and balancing; verify VAV boxes, static pressure controls, economizers, and ventilation systems.
- Communicate technical findings to facility managers, contractors, and building owners; prepare service reports and recommendations.
