Job summary

Comfort Systems USA, Southwest Inc. in Chandler, AZ is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Installer Apprentice to join our growing team.

You will perform retrofit installation of commercial HVAC systems and equipment, coordinating with project managers and field teams to deliver high-quality results. Responsibilities include installing RTUs, split systems, VRF, chillers, boilers, and ductwork; reading blueprints; adhering to OSHA safety protocols; and supporting startups.

Qualifications

• Experience with retrofit installation of commercial HVAC systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration principles.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely install and retrofit a range of commercial HVAC systems.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet schedules.
• Assist in QA tests and system startups.
• Maintain safety compliance on site.
• Provide customer-focused service.
