Job summary

A leading HVAC service provider in New York is seeking highly skilled Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Technicians for their fast-paced service department. Candidates will maintain and repair HVAC/Refrigeration systems, assess customer needs, and prepare daily reports. Qualifications include a valid driver's license, FDNY Torch Certification, and OSHA certifications. The position offers opportunities to veterans and emphasizes customer service and safety protocols. Qualifications

• A valid clean driver's license and meet the company's motor vehicle policy.
• FDNY Torch Certification.
• OSHA 30 hour and 10 hour SST Certification.
• Proficient with Smart Phone Usage; knowledge of IVR usage and Retail procedures is a plus.
• Flexible to work stand by rotation and overtime as needed.
• VRF and VRV experience is a plus but not a requirement.

• Maintain service and repair HVAC/Refrigeration equipment and associated systems in commercial and industrial establishments.
• Assess equipment and service needs of customer.
• Identify revenue generating opportunities; make recommendations to customer that can be immediately performed.
• Service and repair HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment.
• Possess diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Prepare accurate daily reporting on work orders and quotes.
• Communicate with Dispatcher and Service department personnel.
• Utilize all applicable safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Exhibit courteous and helpful behavior towards customers and third parties.
