RSC Mechanical is seeking motivated Refrigeration Service Technicians to install, maintain, and service commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment across the Southeast region. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems, perform repairs, prioritize safety, and ensure EPA-compliant refrigerant handling.

Qualifications

• Experience and working knowledge of HVAC and commercial refrigeration preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
• Self-starter capable of working independently and in a team setting.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills.
• Technicians are expected to provide their own standard hand tools.
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and digital work order systems.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment, including walk-ins, reach-ins, rack systems, and ice machines.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems with confidence and precision.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on commercial refrigeration systems.
• Prioritize safety by securing work areas, shutting down power when necessary, and identifying root causes.
• Handle refrigerants safely in compliance with EPA regulations.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and schematics.
• Repair and replace compressors, motors, fans, and other components.
• Provide professional service during emergency calls.
• Work with EMS systems, including CPC, Tracer, and HMI.
• Collaborate with customers, dispatch, and technicians for a seamless service experience.
• Log service reports using mobile and digital platforms.
• Communicate professionally with store managers, supervisors, and team members.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Deliver high-level customer service to retail and commercial clients.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
