Job summary

RSC Mechanical, a family-owned refrigeration service company, is seeking experienced Refrigeration Service Technicians to join our growing team. We value care, consistency, and collaboration as we serve retail, hospitality, and industrial clients across the U.S.

Join our field team to install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment, including CO2 rack systems. Competitive pay, company vehicle, and paid training are provided. Overtime and on-call rotations may apply.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; extensive driving is a key part of the role.
• Experience and working knowledge of HVAC and commercial refrigeration preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Technicians are expected to supply their own standard hand tools.
• Ability to complete necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Strong communication skills with clients, team members, and management.
• Able to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment (walk-ins, reach-ins, rack systems, ice machines).
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration systems.
• Prioritize safety and safely handle refrigerants per EPA regulations.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and schematics; repair and replace components.
• Log service reports using mobile and digital platforms; communicate with store managers and dispatch.
