Job summary

Mr. C's Refrigeration is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC and refrigeration technician to join our Louisville team.

This role services commercial HVAC and walk-in/reach-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and rack refrigeration systems, with emphasis on quality workmanship. Qualified candidates have a current EPA certification, valid driver's license, and can diagnose and repair equipment independently.

Qualifications

• Current EPA certification is required.
• Experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, or rack refrigeration preferred.
• Must live within 25 miles of Louisville, KY.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to diagnose and repair commercial equipment independently.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Dependable, motivated, and willing to work.
• Ability to participate in on‑call rotation when required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigeration system issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service as needed.
• Work on equipment such as walk‑in/reach‑in coolers and freezers, ice machines, and rack systems.
• Communicate findings and recommended repairs clearly.
• Complete service documentation accurately and promptly.
• Maintain a professional attitude with customers and team members.

• Commercial HVAC Service Technicians
• Commercial Refrigeration Technicians
• Supermarket and Rack Refrigeration Technicians
• Combination HVAC/R Technicians

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigeration system issues

• Work on equipment related to your experience, which may include commercial HVAC systems, walk‑in and reach‑in coolers and freezers, ice machines, and rack refrigeration systems
