Job summary

Frank Gay Commercial Services in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.

You will work on rooftop units, large 30-ton split systems, chill water systems, and cooling towers, handling HVAC electrical and controls (high and low voltage), while maintaining strong customer service and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years HVAC/R experience.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Experience with BAS and DDC controls.
• Strong HVAC electrical aptitude and technical ability.
• Universal EPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
• Work on rooftop units, large 30-ton split systems, chill water systems, and cooling towers.
• Handle HVAC electrical and controls (high voltage and low voltage).
• Demonstrate efficient and effective problem-solving skills.
• Maintain strong customer service and clear communication with clients.
• Attend periodic manufacturer training classes to stay updated on the latest technologies.
• Be available for on-call duty as required.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
