Job summary

Frank Gay Commercial Services in Port Charlotte, FL, is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair large-scale HVAC systems for our customers.

You will work on rooftop units, large 30-ton systems, chillers, and cooling towers, handling electrical and controls work (high and low voltage) while delivering excellent customer service. On-call availability and safety training are required, with ongoing manufacturer training to stay current.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of HVAC/R experience.
• Experience with BAS and DDC controls is a plus.
• Strong HVAC electrical aptitude and technical ability.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC/R equipment.
• Work on rooftop units, large 30-ton split systems, chill water systems, and cooling towers.
• Handle HVAC electrical and controls (high and low voltage).
• Demonstrate efficient and effective problem solving.
• Maintain strong customer service and clear communication with clients.
• Attend manufacturer training classes to stay updated on technologies.
• Be available for on-call duty as required.
• Participate in safety training and follow safety procedures.
