Join us as a Commercial HVAC/R Technician at Pilot Company

Become part of our dedicated team! Enjoy a competitive quarterly bonus, weekends off, and no on-call duties. You will be dispatched from home, working 45-50+ hours weekly (including winter). We provide a company vehicle, tools, equipment, cellular phone/iPad, and laptop. Your primary location will be near Louisville, KY.

The role involves performing installations, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC/R systems, food service equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems across various food and retail locations.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to service requests; troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair according to warranty and industry standards
• Communicate with supervisors and store management about repair status
• Complete work order notes and ensure proper charge allocations
• Monitor truck stock for required parts
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms
• Inspect facility interiors and exteriors for safety and maintenance issues
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
• Support the company's purpose by providing excellent service to guests and team members
• Adhere to all rules, policies, and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with positive driving record
• At least three years of recent maintenance experience with commercial HVAC systems; certification preferred
• Experience repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
• Understanding of OSHA guidelines
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently

• Ability to interpret site drawings
