Job summary

AA Duckett, an Elliott-Lewis company, is seeking HVAC/R service technicians to perform preventive maintenance, service, and minor repairs on commercial units at client sites. The role covers troubleshooting, electrical and refrigeration circuits, and control systems across ATC and refrigeration applications.

Required are a HS diploma, EPA Type II, valid driver's license, and willingness to work on-call after hours in a rotating schedule. Experience with Aaon, Munters, and Carrier gear is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical experience via apprenticeship, trade school, or prior work.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Must possess Type II EPA certification.
• Chiller education for air- and water-cooled systems.
• Familiar with DC controls and pneumatics; fresh air machines.
• Willing to work stand-by after hours on a rotation.

Responsibilities

• Manage onsite repair, maintenance, and test tasks.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and refrigeration circuits for HVAC/R.
• Fix minor plumbing and appliance problems as needed.
• Diagnose, repair, or replace hot water heaters.
• Coordinate workflow with scheduling.
• Service chillers, valves, and water flow devices.
• Service compressors (reciprocating, scroll, screw, centrifugal).
• Install and service control systems (analog and digital) and program them.
