WhatWe Need from You:

  • Deliver professionalism, communication, and integrity to customers.
  • Diagnose, repair, and calibrate a variety of HVAC/R equipment.
  • Be available for nights, weekends, and on-call emergencies.
  • Maintain vehicle stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment.
  • Participate in training opportunities to enhance skills.

Qualifications:

  • Universal EPA Universal EPA certification.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and heating principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial HVAC systems; refrigeration experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and frequently move heavy objects.
  • Comfort working in extreme temperatures and tight spaces, including attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
  • Strong balance and coordination for climbing ladders and working at heights of 45 feet or higher.
  • Endurance to stand or kneel for extended periods.
  • Dexterity for tasks such as connecting electrical components and making precise measurements.

Helios determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $30-40/hour. Pay is based on several factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
