Schwickert’s Tecta America is seeking skilled Commercial HVAC-R Service Technicians to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC-R systems. The role offers on‑the‑job training, advancement potential, and a chance to join a company that invests in its people.

Successful candidates may receive a sign-on bonus and will work in a hands-on environment with safety standards and possible on-call rotations. Minimum HVAC experience and EPA/NATE qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Technical school degree preferred, but not required.
• 3+ years of HVAC-R experience Required.
• EPA certification (or willingness to obtain within the first month).
• NATE certification, DDC/Pneumatic controls, boiler license, or refrigeration background a plus.
• Ability to work safely at heights and in varying temperatures.
• Capable of lifting 50+ lbs, climbing stairs and ladders, and performing physical tasks.
• Strong willingness to learn & take direction from supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC-R systems.
• Perform start-up of installed systems.
• Conduct regular maintenance and preventative services.
• Ensure compliance with HVAC codes and company safety standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Pay Range:$30–$45+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Physical Demands

This role requires regular use of hands, talking, hearing, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, and kneeling. Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Additional Requirements

This position requires pre‑employment screening, including drug testing, a criminal background check, and a DMV check.
