Job summary

Benedict Sales & Service is seeking a Commercial HVAC-R Service Technician to service and install commercial refrigeration, HVAC, ventilation, food service, and beverage equipment across central Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota. This full-time role offers year-round work, weekly pay, and strong benefits.

You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment, read schematics and blueprints, run copper piping, and coordinate with a support team and Service Manager to ensure high-quality service on every

Qualifications

• 1+ year of commercial refrigeration or HVAC experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class D driver’s license and insurability.
• Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, communication, and basic computer skills.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience, technical training or apprenticeship, and a Federal Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install commercial HVAC-R equipment.
• Read schematics, manuals, and blueprints; use testing tools to solve equipment issues.
• Run copper piping and PVC; maintain parts inventory.
• Complete electronic work orders and communicate clearly with customers and coworkers.
• Safely operate and maintain the company vehicle, tools, and equipment.
